6: The Ones Who Opposed Him

This week we will explore Jesus' main opposition: the Pharisees. More than simply the villains of the story, they actually hoped to bring a brighter future to their people by taking God's laws more seriously than ever before. They were highly respected but also deeply misguided in their approach, and if we aren't careful, we can be more like them than we'd like to admit.
